KUALA LUMPUR: The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is offering various prizes valued at almost RM240,000 to 39 winners of the Stay Safe & Win SSPN-i 2021 campaign launched today.
PTPTN chief executive, Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid said the top prizes included a Proton X50 for the Platinum category, a Perodua Myvi 1.5 cc for the Gold category and a Yamaha Y15zr motorcycle for the silver category.
The winners of second, third and consolation prizes for each category will receive jewellery, laptops and cash.
“The campaign is open to all depositors of Skim Simpanan Pendidikan Nasional (SSPN-i) who open new accounts or top up their existing accounts during the promotion period from June 1 to September 30 2021.
“To participate in the campaign, customers only need have a minimum of RM200 in their new or existing accounts during the period and have to maintain the amount for three months until October 1 to Dec 31 2021 after the promotion,” he said at the launching of the campaign on PTPTN official Facebook site today.
Ahmad Dasuki said present account holders who have the minimum savings of RM200, need only to top up another RM50 to be eligible for one draw and the participation is automatic.
He explained that the campaign is the effort of PTPTN for Malaysians to save for the future while practising personal and family health care to face of the challenges of Covid-19.
“The new normal now which demands working from home, studying online and staying at home, would reduce certain expenditure such as the cost of travelling, entertainment and social activities.
“As such, it is appropriate for parents to plan family expenses as well as financial management and ensure part of the saving goes toward the future of their children,” he said
