SIBU: Sarawak United Peoples’ Party (SUPP) Pelawan Branch and Kawasan Rukun Tetangga Taman Rajang will be collaborating in organising a Mooncake Festival at Rejang Park Traffic Garden at 7.30pm on Sept 13.
The Sibu populace, both adults and children, particularly the nearby residents are cordially invited to participate in the above festival.
Free lanterns and moon cakes will be distributed to the attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Cultural performances will also be held to entertain the audience on that night.
Chairman of Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) and SUPP Pelawan Branch, Cr Clarence Ting Ing Horh and the political secretary to Sarawak Chief Minister cum SUPP Pelawan Branch secretary, Michael Tiang will be meeting with the public as well as to deliver speeches.
