MIRI: Pustaka Miri will be holding a forum entitled ‘Mystical Beliefs vs. Mental Illnesses’ on 23 October.
The forum, which will commence at 2:00 pm in the library’s Auditorium, is co-organised with Miri Hospital’s Department of Psychiatry and Mental Health, Miri Mental Health Association, MYY Insights, Laman Media and sponsored by Malaysian Psychiatric Association.
The panelists who will discuss the issue are a psychiatrist from Putrajaya Hospital who is also the President of Early Career Psychiatrist, Dr. Ahmad Rostam Md Zin and also a psychiatrist and Chairman of Global Life Centre, Ustaz Dr.JefriIrwan b. Harris Gunawan.
It is hoped that this forum will enhance knowledge and reveal the truth behind mystical beliefs associated with mental illnesses.
