KUCHING: The new federal Cabinet must prioritise the restoration of the health, economic and social crisis in the country.

Saribas assemblyman Mohammad Razi Sitam said this is important to restore the people’s confidence in the government.

“For me, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob should think of a new identity or something more powerful to restore the health, economic and social crisis faced by the people.

“It is also important that the opposition works together and give space to Ismail Sabri’s team to fight the pandemic together,” he told Suara Sarawak.

He added that the new cabinet line-up must also consist of truly deserving leaders.

“Those who can be trusted and put the people first are important.

“For Sarawak, we certainly expect many MPs from Bumi Kenyalang to be given important portfolios.

“This will help us to fight for our rights as enshrined in the 1963 Malaysia Agreement (MA63),” he said.
