KUCHING: A woman who was about to withdraw cash from the ATM at a bank in Satok here was shocked to see a big python inside the bank.
She said it was curling between the bank’s two ATM machines on Sunday afternoon at about 4.00 pm.
The woman immediately ran out after she saw the snake curled up in the middle of two machines.
The Civil Defence Force (JPAM) was called to come to help and one of the personnel caught the snake and it was placed far from the machine before being carried elsewhere.
Meanwhile in another case, a woman drank weed killer in an attempt to commit suicide and was rushed to Sarawak General Hospital around about 4.00pm Sunday afternoon.
The incident happened at a house at Pending.
The woman, aged 26, was admitted for further treatment. It was not known why she attempted suicide.
