KUCHING: Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah left for Kuala Lumpur today after a four-day visit here.

The Queen’s arrival at Kuching International Airport at 2pm was greeted by the Sarawak Governor’s wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib and Sarawak Premier’s wife Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang.

Also present were Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Law, MA63, State-Federal Relations) Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali, Deputy State Secretary (operations) Datuk Dr Sabariah Putit as well as guests.

Tunku Azizah arrived in Kuching on Monday and visited the Centre of Technical Excellence, the Brooke Gallery at Fort Margherita, the Borneo Cultures Museum and was feted to a river cruise dinner, among others.

She also attended the 13th Associated Country Women of the World Area Conference for Southeast Asia and the Far East.
