OYA: A Quran Recitation event will be held in this Oya sub-district from December 12 to December 13. The venue of thi s Dalat District Majlis Tilawah Al Quran 1439H/2017 is at the community hall of Kampung Teh, here.
According to Dalat District Information Officer, Khalid Aini, this annual religious event will commence at 7pm.
He disclosed that Minister of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development and Dalat State Assemblywoman, Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah is expected to officiate at the closing ceremony.
Hence, he hoped the residents especially the Muslims from the area and beyond would come in full force to witness the programme.
