KUCHING: Fifteen persons including people with disabilities (PwD) from Satok constituency receive donations under the ‘Jelajah Ramadan’ programme here.
Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki handed over the donations in a brief ceremony on Thursday night (Mar 30) at the Darul Hana Patingan Mosque in Kampung No 6 after performing the Isyak and Terawih prayers with the locals.
The donatiosn were aimed at helping to ease the burden of those in need during the current Ramadan.
At the same event, Ibrahim also handed over a donation of three copies of Al-Quran and financial assistance to the Darul Hana Patingan Mosque for the mosque to carry out its activities throughout the month of Ramadan.
The donation was received by Darulhana Patingan Mosque chairman Zamhari Hashim.
The ‘Jelajah Ramadan’ programme was organised by Satok Constituency Service Centre.
