SIBU: The Special Branch (SB) of Rascom’s office held its reunion dinner on Saturday (Mar 2) to strengthen bond and friendship among its former member.

Its organising chairman, Tuai Rumah Monica Jugah said the members had served Rascom during the communist era in the 1970s.

“We have faced many challenges and obstacles, but we have never forgotten our goals and that is something to be proud of. We should all take a moment to pat ourselves on the back for all that we have achieved,” she said in her welcoming speech.

The dinner was attended by approximately 100 former members of the SB Rascom from all over the state held at a renowned hotel here.

Monica also urged her former colleagues to use the gathering as an opportunity to inspire each other to continue to grow and succeed.

“Let us share our stories, our successes and our joyful life journeys. I also hope that the event could be organised again in the future to preserve the friendship among former colleagues,” she added.
