KUCHING: Frontliners at the Covid-19 One Stop Centre at Dewan Masyarakat, Jalan Padungan, here received Raya food packs at Wednesday noon (May 19).
Datuk Wee Hong Seng, Mayor of Kuching South City Council (MBKS), handed over the food packs to the frontliners on behalf of the chairman of the State Disaster Management Committee Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas.
The donations were to thank the frontliners for their unending dedication and hard work since the pandemic ravaged the world.
Wee advised the public not to wander near the Covid-19 One Stop Centre.
“If you do not have any related matter at the centre, please do not roam around the area.
“Leave the area as soon after you have been attended to at the centre. Please cooperate fully and follow the procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the centre,” he added.
