Recycle soap project

KUCHING: Kuching Hilton Hotel is partnering with Ecolab and charity organisation Hope Place to recycle used soaps from the hotel under a project called ‘Solution for Life’.

Under the project, Hope Place volunteers will repack the used soaps, using the technology provided by Ecolab, for distribution to the underprivileged families and individuals that are listed in its welfare list.

Hope Place has started repacking the used soaps at its new store at Jalan Stutong here.

The soaps will be made from 9am to 2pm on Sept 10-13, Sept 17-20 and Sept 30-Oct 4.

The charity organisation hopes to sell the repacked used soaps for sale to the public to help raise fund for its charity events and programmes.
