SELANGAU: “Do not choose politicians who are only good at making promises,” said Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) president, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Jemut Masing.

“They will leave you behind after the election and you will suffer.”

He also called on people in the state to continue to unite to ensure victory for Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) in the upcoming state election.

He then praised Tamin assemblyman Christopher Gira for his excellent performance as the people’s representative.

“He has managed to bring various forms of development to his constituency. If you, in Tamin, want to continue enjoy development, please give your full support to him in the upcoming state election,” he said when addressing the people of Rumah Jingga, Sungai Buloh yesterday.

At the ceremony, Masing announced an allocation of RM20,000 for the longhouse’s Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) and RM5,000 for the women’s bureau.

Gira also announced an allocation of RM100,000 in the form of building materials to the JKKK of Rumah Jingga.
