BINTULU: Ten rural transformation projects (RTP) within Kakus constituency under Mukah district office have been completed while two others are under construction.
“The two under construction are a road upgrading project of Rumah Latit and Rumah Gajah and the construction of futsal field for Bukit Dinding,” said Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Native Laws and Customs) Datuk John Sikie Tayai who is also Kakus assemblyman.
Last Friday, Sikie inspected the RTP project sites – namely road upgrading works at Rumah Minggu, Rumah Juti, Rumah Garit, Rumah Tepi, Rumah Johnny Bukit Dinding, Rumah Budin Jalan Bukut Ulu Bawan Phase 1 and Rumah David Ulu Bawan.
The visit was to ensure smooth implementation of the projects.
Sikie was accompanied by acting Mukah district officer Peleadzman Ahip.
