KABONG: Fifteen students of Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kabong who obtained excellent results in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2020 examination received laptops from Kabong assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir.
The students are Natasya Aisyah Masmos who obtained 9As, Nur Hafiza Abu Samah (8As), Nur Aidawanie Marzuki (7As), Adzlin Shaffica Sahiden (7As), Ika Amylia Razali (7As), Nur Azrinaz Asmera (7As) and Nur Fitri Adawiyah Materang (7As).
Also receiving the laptops were Nurul Fakhriyatul Azwa Mahyan (6As), Masnini Yani Shukri (6As), Dayang Nur Sipika Abang Busrah (6As), Nurul Fatihah Abdullah (6As), Dayang Sarifah Sahirah Abang Nasip (5As), Emylia Senawi (5As), Mohammad Afzal Nizal Affendi (5As) and Nur Hazimah Mustapha (5As).
Chee congratulated the students on their excellent performances.
“Continue your journey (to seek knowledge) as far as possible.
“Study hard so that one day you can contribute to the nation, religion and country as well as make your family proud with your success,” he said at the presentation ceremony.
During the event, the assemblyman handed over minor rural project (MRP) grants amounting to RM129,000 to 14 schools in his constituency.
