Date:

SARIKEI: Temenggong Lau Hieng Ping on Monday thanked Repok assemblyman, Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii and frontline health personnel for working hard to ensure that the people of Sarikei received the Covid-19 vaccines as soon as possible.

“I appeal to all the Sarikei people to support Datuk Seri Huang by getting vaccinated so that the state can achieve 80 percent herd immunity as quickly as possible,” he said during a visit to the vaccination centre (PPV) in Sarikei.

“I also call on all Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) to provide their best services in order to get more people to register for the vaccination.

“I also thank the entire Sarikei community for their enthusiastic response to the programme. Those who have not yet received the vaccines can seek assistance from the health clinics,” he added.
