Rep helps students prepare for school year

SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii recently donated school bags, uniforms and school shoes to students in his constituency.

The Repok Service Centre team conducted tours and distributed school bags to primary schools within the constituency including SK Methodist Anglo-Chinese Sarikei, SK St Anne, SJK Kwang Chien, SJK St Martin, SJK Kiew Mang and SJK Sze Lu.

According to Huang’s representative, Penghulu Huang Tiong Kang, the donation is intended to ease the burden of parents preparing for the school term next year.

Meanwhile, the headmasters of the respective schools praised Huang for this initiative to encourage students to be more enthusiastic about starting their school session next year.

Apart from that, they also expressed their appreciation to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg for his attentiveness toward the needs of the people and providing continuous development for the people of Sarawak.
