SARIKEI: Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii donated food and drinks to the frontliners who were working round the clock to ensure the safety and the wellbeing of the public during the movement control order (MCO).

Kapitan Ling Dien Yong delivered the food and drinks on Huang’s behalf to six police stations as well as the medical staff of Sarikei Hospital.

The assemblyman hoped these contributions could ease the burden of frontliners such as the police, and armed forces, doctors and nurses.

“We honour our frontliners and sacrifices they make,” he said.

Huang urged the people here to stay at home during the MCO to curb the Covid-19 outbreak.

“Everyone’s concerted effort is needed to contain the spread of Covid-19,” he said.
