Rep urges constituents to make full use of RTP projects

BALINGIAN: Several rural transformation projects have been completed in Balingian constituency for the benefit of constituents.

Balingian assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi said the projects included a new concrete road at Kampung Kuala Jebungan, Mukah; a new wooden jetty at Rumah Seliau, Sungai Liuk, Balingan; a new concrete drain at Orang Kaya Abang Abong Lane 4, Balingian; a drain at Kampung Lintang, Balingian; and an upgraded drainage system at Kampung Masjid, Balingian.

Abdul Yakub thanked Mukah division Drainage and Irrigation Department (JPS) for completing the projects within the scheduled period.

He hoped that the people would make full use of the facilities provided by the government.

“I also thank the Sarawak government for providing the necessary allocation for the projects,” he said at a simple handover ceremony of RTP projects s at the respective locations here on Tuesday (Feb 9).

The contractors handed over the projects to the respective village development and security committees (JKKK).
