Rep visits six project sites in Tatau

TATAU: Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Native Laws and Customs) Datuk John Sikie Tayai recently visited six Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) project sites here.

He said the purpose of the visits was to submit project documents to Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) and contractors.

“All projects are to commence immediately after the handing over of documents, and be completed according to the dates given,” he added.

One of the RTP projects is flattening the soil at Rumah Panjang Baru Rumah Lasok anak Oat, Rumah Kelambu anak Meringai, Unbam Indaituai’s House and Rumah Jelian anak Guru.

Among others are repairing the road of Rumah Japing anak Gasing and constructing new road as well as flattening the soil at Rumah Minda anak Jipon, Sungai Engkeranji Tatau.

Sikie also visited Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tatau vaccination centre last Sunday (Sept 12) to monitor the inoculation process.
