MIRI: The repair work on the 1100mm diameter water mains at Batu 7, Jalan Miri-Bintulu near PUSPAKOM, was completed at 3pm today.
LAKU management in a statement revealed that water supply would gradually be back to normal.
“However, we foresee the water to be turbid/dirty immediately after the resumption of normal supply,” it said.
It also shared that it has mobilised the teams to carry out flushing activities to remove unnecessary adhesives from the pipes arising from the repair.
“We would like to urge the public not to listen to rumors of any kind but instead check with our 24 Hotlines and website as for confirmation,” it added.
