Retiring STIDC general manager calls on Abang Johari

KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg received a farewell visit in conjunction with the retirement of Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC) general manager Datuk Hasjim Bojet at the former’s office, yesterday.

Hashim began his service as a substitute teacher at SRK Landeh Kuching, SRB St Andrew Kuching and SMK DPHA Gapur, Stampin from around 1981 to 1986.

He then held the position of executive officer (Projects) for 15 years at STIDC Kuching from 1987 to 2002.

Having served as the Economic Affairs officer at STIDC starting from March 31, 2003, until November 1, 2016, he subsequently became the general manager on October 6, 2018.

He will retire at the end of this month.
