PADAWAN: A 36-year-old motorcyclist lost his life following a collision with two vehicles at Jalan Batu Kawa-Matang on Sunday.
Padawan Police chief Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said that the accident happened around 10 pm involved the motorcyclist, an MPV, and a sedan.
“Initial investigations have found that the accident occurred when the MPV, travelling from Batu Kawa, was hit by the motorcyclist.
“As a result, the victim is then suspected to have been thrown off from the motorcycle and hit the sedan vehicle which was moving straight from behind,” he said.
Regrettably, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the drivers of the MPV and sedan were unharmed.
The police are currently investigating this case under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
