RM 25,000 allocated for Kapit Hospital car park project

KAPIT : A grant amounting to RM25,000 has been allocated to Lions Club of Kapit to undertake a construction of a car park at Kapit Hospital to ease the shortage of parking spaces at the hospital.

This was disclosed by Bukit Goran assemblyman Jefferson Jamit Unyat who recently visited Kapit Hospital to have a firsthand look at the parking woes.

He was accompanied by Lions Club Kapit members led by its pres ident Ong Hwang Seng, Malaysian Red Crescent Kapit Chapter chairman Dr Sia Tih Kong, Dato Yong Hua Sying, Eve l yn Bi ju, Ting Be e Eng, Councillor Jenny Yu , Ting King Yiing, Anthony Jalin Manggie, Sarawak Dayak Iban Association (SADIA) Kapit branch chairman Edward Manggah and Inspector Romi Benet.
