SERIAN: A total of RM115,000 in grants were distributed to mosques and suraus in the Bukit Semuja constituency.
The assistance was presented by Sarawak Legislative Assembly Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, benefitting five mosques and 13 suraus.
The presentation of the grants was held in a ceremony at BOMBA Lecture Room in Serian on Saturday witnessed by Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus.
Each mosque receives a grant of RM10,000 while suraus receive RM5,000 each.
