MARUDI: Assistant Minister of Local Government and Marudi State Assemblyman, Datu Dr Penguang Manggil has urged the community leaders and residents of Marudi to cooperate with BN on the spirit of ‘Segulai Sejalai’. He said that although the villagers of Mulong now came from six longhouses who originated from Rh. Pengarah Entri, Penguang hoped that the villagers would always work together for the common good.

“At present, the social media has a great influence especially Facebook and WhatsApp, and I urge users to utilise it responsibly and not use it to spread false news and negative political propaganda,” said Penguang.

The Marudi State Assemblyman was present at the opening ceremony of the Leaders with Citizens and the ‘Awning’ project in conjunction with the New Year 2018 at Rh. Abok anak Jabu in Tinjar, Baram last night.

In that regard, Penguang told Baram Member of Parliament, Anyi Ngau to be re-nominated for the coming General Elections (GE) and called on the people here to avoid believing the propaganda and false news disseminated by irresponsible parties.
