KUCHING: Kampung Nyegol and Kampung Sting have received donations of RM16,200 to build their new church.
RM10,000 came from Tourism, Art, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, RM5,000 from NG Picture and RM1,200 from a Kota Kinabalu Holy Seal cell group member.
The donations were presented during a press conference on the last ring ladies at the Old Court House here yesterday.
According to a spokesperson, currently the villagers are holding their Sunday service at the headman’s house.
