RM300k allocated to upgrade trading site

BAU: Serembu assemblyman Miro Simuh has provided an allocation of RM300,000 through his rural transformation project (RTP) fund for the implementation of upgrading project involving the Pasar Tamu Paku here.

According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the allocation is to upgrade the roof structure and some facilities in the area.

In conjunction with the allocation, it was said that Miro together with the Bau District Council and contractors visited and surveyed the market site recently.

Meanwhile, he also provided an allocation of RM200,000 through his RTP fund that had been distributed for project to be implemented at Libuan Goru Waterfall, Kampung Belimbin, Krokong Bau.

Among the project proposals is the construction of a reservoir, toilet, bathroom, huts including the road leading to the waterfall area, he pointed out.

Miro also then had the opportunity to visit Libuan Goru Waterfall together with the Bau District Council, contractors and Belimbin village head on Tuesday.

The Kampung Belimbin Security and Development Committee (JKK) and the villagers were also excited and expressed their appreciation to their elected representative for the implementation of the project which will facilitate access to the waterfall area as well as helping to beautify it.
