LUNDU: Twelve Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) projects worth RM3 million have been implemented in Sampadi, Lundu since 2017, said Tanjong Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu.

She said these projects were in addition to the RM98.5 million Batang Rambungan bridge and the replacements for eight Bailey bridges along the Rambungan-Sampadi-Lundu road at a cost of RM100 million.

“The RTP projects demonstrate the concern of the state government for the welfare of the people,” she said at a prize presentation ceremony in Kampung Sampadi here yesterday.

Jamilah hoped that the people of Tanjung Datu would wait patiently for their development projects knowing that each one is carried out in stages.
