BINTULU: A cash pr ize of RM7,500, inclusive of trophy and medals await the champions of a futsal tournament organised by Biport Bulkers Sdn Bhd (BBSB) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad at Kidurong Bintulu Club from Oct 27 to 29.
The championship is the 7th edition since its introduction in 2010. The tournament is limited to 40 entries for the Men’s Open category only and is open to Malaysians and those players from Brunei Darussalam.
The tournament will be played in a league format in the group stages and only the top two teams from each group will qualify to the knockout round.
The entry fee is RM400 per team. Meanwhi le, the s e cond placed winners will receive a cash prize RM4,500 with a trophy and medals and third placed winners will get a cash prize of RM3,000 with a trophy and medals, while fourth place will receive RM1,500 cash prize plus trophy and medals.
