RM9 million grant for private Chinese secondary schools

KUCHING: The state government handed over a RM9 million grant to the Sarawak United Association of Private Chinese Secondary Schools Management Board in Kuching on Tuesday (June 9).

Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg presented a mock cheque for the amount to the chairman of Committee of Management for Kuching Chung Hua Middle Schools No. 1, 3, and 4, Datuk Richard Wee Liang Chiat at his office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia.

Also present were Minister of Housing and Local Government, Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian and the Committee of Management for Kuching Chung Hua Middle Schools No. 1, 3, and 4.
