RMAF prepares the A400M aircraft to transport an elderly patient to Kuching.

KUCHING: The Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) successfully transported an elderly patient with heart disease from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR).

An A400M aircraft from No. 22 Squadron transported a 71-year-old elderly patient with heart disease to receive treatment at Sarawak Heart Centre in Kota Samarahan.

The aircraft flown by RMAF Major Khairul Ikhmal Ishak and RMAF Captain Mohammad Ridhwan Yahaya with three crew members, departed from Subang Air Base at 7.32am.

The 1-hour 30-minute flight was safely landed at Kuching Air Base around 9am.

The patient, who previously received treatment at the National Heart Institute in Kuala Lumpur, will be receiving further treatment at the Sarawak Heart Centre to facilitate the care of the patient’s family.

RMAF wishes for the patient to be given healing and good health. It is hoped that such effort is a great help in ensuring the people’s well-being and health in the country is well taken care of.
