KUCHING: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) is placing several roll-on, roll-off (Roro) bins at 13 locations in its areas for residents to dispose of bulky waste before the Hari Raya and Hari Gawai festivals.
Residents in the selected locations will be able to properly dispose of bulky waste starting April 30 according to the following schedule.
At Kampung Tabuan Haji Drahman, three Roro bins will be placed from April 30 to May 2. The units will be located at Lorong Foochow 1U, Lorong Foochow 1X and Lorong Foochow 1Y.
At Kampung Lumba Kuda/Jalan Mendu, three bins will be placed on May 3 and 4. The units will be located at Lorong Lumba Kuda, Jubilee Ground Carpark and in front of house No.13, Lorong Mendu 3.
At Kampung Sri Maimunah, one bin will be located at Lorong Sungai Apong Baru 7A on May 5 and 6.
At Kampung Sungai Periok, two bins will be placed on May 5 and 6. The units will be located at behind HKB Motor Sdn Bhd, Jalan Pending and the car park in front of Zhong Chan Enterprise S/B, City Square.
At Kampung Tabuan Melayu, six bins will be placed from May 7 to 9. The units will be located at next to Selipar Putus bin centre, in front of SK Tabuan Hilir, in front of Dewan Kampung Tabuan Lot, next to Tabuan Dani bin centre, next to Tabuan Tengah bin centre and next to Sacofa Tabuan Park Flats.
At Kampung Sungai Apong Baru, one bin will be located at the road verge of Jalan Kampung Sungai Apong Baru on May 22 and 23.
At Kampung Stampin Baru (Stampin Resettlement), one bin will be located on a vacant land opposite the junction of Lorong 17G, Jalan Stampin Baru on May 22 and 23.
At Sungai Laru, one bin will be located in front of Pentas Kampung Sungai Laru on May 22 and 23.
At Kampung Sungai Nada, one bin will be placed at the entrance to Kampung Sungai Nada, Jalan Tabuan Tranquility on May 24 and 25.
At Kampung Stampin (BDC), one bin will be placed on the vacant land next to Balai Raya on May 24 and 25.
At Kampung Tabuan Lalang, one bin will be placed at next to Tropics Condo on May 24 and 25.
At Kampung Tabuan Dayak Baru, one bin will be placed on May 24 and 25 and the collection will be collected by trucks only.
At Tabuan Dayak, three bins will be placed from May 26 to 28. The units will be located at Lorong Tabuan Dayak 9, on the vacant land next to the junction of Lorong Tabuan Dayak 10A and the junction of Lorong Tabuan Dayak 11.
