KABONG: Two rural transformation programme (RTP) projects in the Kabong state constituency have been completed for the benefit of the people.

These involve a new RM400,000 Jambatan Sungai Peruntung in Nyabor, as well as a parking area at SK St Paul in Roban which cost RM200,000.

“Thank you to the implementing agencies and contractors for expediting the construction of these projects which are really needed by the people,” said assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir.

“RTP projects should have no delays, therefore, I often remind the implementing agencies and contractors to give their full commitment to ensure each project is completed on schedule,” he said after witnessing the handing over of Jambatan Sungai Peruntung on Tuesday (Jan 25).

Towards this end he hoped that RTP projects for the current and subsequent years will also run smoothly.
