KOTA KINABALU: Sabah on Tuesday signed two new import players comprising Serbian midfielder, Luka Milunovic and South Korean defender, Park Taesu for its 2019 season.

Sabah Football Association (SAFA) acting president, Datuk Peter Anthony announced this in a media conference after

observing the state squad training session at Likas Stadium here Tuesday.

Peter said the two players signed a one-year contract each with Sabah and they are expected to make their maiden appearance in the team’s first Premier League match against Johor Darul Ta’zim II (JDTII) at Likas Stadium, this Saturday.

Milunovic, 26, who was the former under-21 player of Serbia, was last with Melaka

United while Park, 29, was earlier playing for Hwaseong FC in his country.

“We made the decision on the two players after discussions with the manager and coach and we hope with Milunovic and Park, we need to find only one more player to complete our import quota,” he said.
