SIBU: The Association of Wives of State Ministers and Assistant Ministers (Sabati) is committed in the fight against Covid-19 by providing prevention kits and contributions to the Sibu Central Fire and Rescue (Bomba) Station.

According to a Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) report, the prevention kits were presented by Sabati chairperson Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang, who is also the chief minister’s wife, at the Sibu Central Bomba Station today.

The brief ceremony was also attended by Malaysian Government Service Welfare and Sports Council (Maksak) Sarawak Women’s Wing chairperson Datin Amar Evelyn Ritikos and Bomba Sarawak director Khirudin Drahman.

In his speech, Khirudin expressed the gratitude of Bomba Sarawak as well as members of Sibu Central Bomba Station for the contribution from Sabati.

He also hoped that the commitment shown by the state government through the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) would be able to successfully curb the spread of Covid-19.
