Sabati donates to PDKs

KUCHING: The Association of Wives of Ministers and Assistant Ministers, Sarawak (Sabati) donated Covid-19 virus prevention kit to 55 Community-based Rehabilitation Centre (PDK) and nine non-governmental
organisations today.

The donation comprised 30,000 facemasks, 7,000 hand gloves, 800 sanitisers and 70 infrared thermometers.

Sabati president Datuk Amar Juma’ani Tun Tuanku Bujang also presented cash donations to 18 PDKs at Wisma Sultan Tengah here.

The NGOs in charge of orphanages and old folks homes along with Sarawak Cheshire Home, Kuching Autistic Association, Sarawak Society for the Blind and Sarawak Society for the Deaf received assistance from Sabati as well.

Moreover, Sabati contributed basic needs items to 190 residents at Hospital Sentosa. Besides the Covid-19 virus prevention kits, Sabati donated personal protective equipment (PPE), walkie talkie, working shoes, beds, mattresses, pillows, tables, cabinets and other basic necessities.
