SIBU: Beauty salon operator Rose Chukan at Sg Merah here said her salon would impose additional fee of between RM3 and RM5 for providing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as glove, facemask and hand sanitiser.
According to her, the extra charges are to cover the standard operating procedures (SOPs) expenses for each customer.
As a precaution to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, she said she would definitely stick strictly to the SOPs that have been mandated by the authorities.
These included one set of clean facial sheet, blanket and towel for each customer and to be instantly replaced as well as washed after each session, she said, adding only two customers were allowed at one time in the premises.
Her salon offers services ranging from artistry bridal make up, facial treatment, eyebrow embroidery, wedding packages, body therapy and massage to wedding photo sessions.
