KUCHING: The Samarahan Tang Soo Do (TSD) Association exponents have improved on their medal tally in the 26th National Tang Soo Do Championship 2019 in Kota Bharu, Kelantan on Dec 7 and 8.
A total of 10 athletes from the association took part in the tournament to bring home 17 medals (6 gold, 7 silver, and 4 bronze) and finished third behind Perak and Kuching.
An outstanding performance was achieved by member Tara Lim who secured four gold medals, one silver medal, and one bronze medal in various categories.
“I hope that the students will not be complacent but instead strive to be the champion team next year,” said Samarahan Tang Soo Do Association’s chief instructor, Master Kiu Chiong Inn.
The championship will be held in Teluk Intan, Perak next year.
