KUCHING: Samariang assemblywoman Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali recently officiated at the symbolic handing over of a Rural Transformation Programme (RTP) project site for Samariang constituency.
According to a report by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), the RTP project included the construction of a bridge and concrete drains as well as the upgrading of lanes at Kampung Sungai Midin and Kampung Samariang Pinggir.
The Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Law, MA63 and State-Federal Relations) took note of the explanation from the appointed contractor under the supervision of the Kuching Division Public Works Department (JKR) regarding the works that will be carried out.
She hoped that all plans would be carried out smoothly without any issues.
