MIRI: Samling Group of Companies has donated two ventilators to Miri Hospital.
The handing over of the contributions took place today at Wisma Samling at Jalan Brighton here, witnessed by Miri Disaster Management Committee (MDMC) minister in-charge Datuk Lee Kim Shin.
Also present were Acting Miri Resident cum MDMC chairman Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof, Miri Hospital director Dr Jack Wong, and Samling Management Services Sdn Bhd chief operating officer (COO) James Ho Yam Kuan.
Earlier last month, Samling also donated polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test machines and personal protective equipment (PPE) to healthcare workers and frontliners statewide.
When met later after the presentation, Lee thanked Samling for their generous contribution under their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes.
