KUALA LUMPUR: Samsung Electronics Co Ltd has introduced its first mass-market 5G mobile smartphones with the launch of the Galaxy S20 ultra variants in the capital yesterday.

Samsung Malaysia Electronics president Yoonsoo Kim said the Samsung Galaxy S20’s exciting feature lies in its camera setup, an entirely new camera system, powered by artificial intelligence (AI) and largest image sensor.

“We believe through the eyes of the Galaxy S20, consumers will be able to tell their stories with clarity as our product is almost capable of replacing professional-grade gear,” he said.

Samsung launched three new S20 models, namely Galaxy S20 with a 6.2-inch display and triple rear camera setup, Galaxy S20+ with a 6.7-inch display, and Galaxy S20 ultra with a 6.9-inch display, both featuring a quad rear camera setup.

The Galaxy S20 comes with space zoom feature that could zoom up to 30 times with utmost clarity, as well as camera’s single take feature which allows the users to capture the entire moment through pictures and videos in several modes simultaneously.

On top of that, it has also introduced the Galaxy S20 Ultra that uses AI-powered, multi-image processing to reduce quality loss at extremely high zoom levels for users to experience a super resolution zoom up to 100 times.

Prices for the S20 variants start from RM3,599.

In conjunction with the launch today, Samsung will also be organising its Galaxy S20 roadshows from March 6-8 in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, and Kota Kinabalu. – Bernama
