Sanitisation equipment, chemical donated to Miri Bomba

MIRI: Six units of 20ltr battery operated sprayer, 30 units of 3.6ltr Clorox, and three units air blower sprayer were donated to the Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba).

The sanitisation equipment and chemical were donated by the Miri Hakka Association, Youth Section to help  Miri Bomba with sanitisation work.

The equipment was handed over to Miri Bomba Zone 6 chief Law Poh King, witnessed by Transport Minister and also Miri Hakka Association president Datuk Lee Kim Shin, on Thursday (June 17).

Sally Liew Li Khang, from the association’s youth section, said the equipment, worth RM1,600, was from collections made by the association committee, Youth Section and Women Section.

“We really care about our frontline personnel, especially the firefighters who work endlessly to fight the Covid-19 virus.”

Meanwhile, Lee said: “On behalf of the Miri Divisional Disaster Management Committee, I would like to thank the Miri Hakka Association for the donations.”

Also present were Miri Resident Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusuf, Miri Hakka Association’s Liew Han Ping, Youth Section’s Andy Jong Wan Joon and advisor Liew Li Mui.
