SERIAN: Serian fire and rescue station (BBP) carried out sanitisation works yesterday at various locations in the area in an effort to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The first operation was carried out at the Agriculture Department Serian Division and Serian Farmers’ Organisation, covering an area of 1,737 square metres, from 9am to 10.50am.
This involved five Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) personnel, led by PBK I Julie Umar, as well as two personnel each from the Agriculture Department and Farmers’ Organisation.
The second operation was conducted at the Public Works Department (JKR) Serian Division and the Community Development Department Serian Division, covering a total area of 3,022 square metres, from 9am to 11am.
Five Bomba personnel, led by Serian BBP chief James Gani, as well as two personnel each of the Community Development Department and JKR were involved.
