KUCHING: The third session of the first term of the 19th Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) adjourned sine die at 4.45pm today (Dec 1) after eight days.

On the first day, the sitting started with the first reading of six Bills which were the Supply (2023) Bill 2022, Constitution of the State of Sarawak (Amendment) (No.2) Bill 2022, Sovereign Wealth Future Fund Board Bill 2022, Electronic Sarawak Government Activities Bill 2022, Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (Amendment) Bill 2022, and Veterinary Public Health (Amendment) Bill 2022.

The same day also witnessed the second reading and tabling of the Supply (2023) Bill 2022 by Finance and New Economy Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg which were debated by the DUN members throughout the eight days.

Meanwhile, the second day saw the tabling of the Sarawak Sovereign Wealth Future Fund Board Bill 2022, the Constitution of the State of Sarawak (Amendment) (No.2) Bill 2022 and the Electronic Sarawak Government Activities Bill 2022.

The third day witnessed the Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (Amendment) Bill 2022 and the Veterinary Public Health (Amendment) Bill 2022 being tabled.

Today, the Supply (2023) Bill 2022 or the 2023 State Budget tabled by Abang Johari on the first day of the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) was also approved.

The motion of adjournment was tabled by Deputy Minister of Transport Datuk Henry Harry Jinep (GPS-Tasik Biru).
