KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Demak Laut and Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) will continue fighting for the ‘Sarawak First’ agenda to ensure that the Demak Laut constituency continues to be under PBB-GPS.

Demak Laut assemblyman Dr Hazland Abang Hipni said like in previous years, PBB Demak Laut would use the approach of going to the ground, listening to and resolving all problems faced by the people without having to wait for the election.

“PBB will continue its excellent performance as in previous elections through its concept of resolving issues at the grassroots level.

“This includes issues to do with land, housing, infrastructure, welfare, and socioeconomic matters. We look into each issue and ensure that they can be resolved for the convenience of the residents,” he said.

Touching on the Sarawak State Election (PRN) which could be held at any time, Dr Hazland, who is also head of PBB Demak Laut Branch, added that PBB’s achievements in the Demak Laut constituency were very good and they would continue to maintain this record and increase the support of the people for PBB-GPS.

“The people are wise in choosing leaders and parties which can fight for their welfare, by looking at the track record and efforts without having to wait for the election to arrive,” he said.

He said that the interests and needs of the people must continue to be defended by bringing continuous development as well as stable and trusted state politics.

“Not like the opposition which continues to bring politics of lies, division, and hatred,” he said.

He assured that PBB Demak Laut would continue to reach out to the community to ensure that all development agendas were brought to those in need.
