MIRI:  Telang Usan state constituency has benefitted from  millions of ringgit worth of projects    implemented by the Sarawak government since 2011.

Telang Usan assemblyman Dennis Ngau  said the projects  included the Long Lama bridge, solar power projects for longhouses, telco towers, village roads, public halls  and churches.

He added all these projects were possible because Telang Usan was represented by an assemblyman who was in the Sarawak government.

On land issues, he added, “As the people’s representative, I  always  advise the people to seek the right advice   from the Sarawak government.

“There is no other authority when it comes to land matters in the state other than the Sarawak government.”

Dennis advised the village folks to develop their large tracks of land and not to leave them idle.

He urged the younger generation  to venture into modern farming which promised better returns.

On politics, Dennis who is also PBB supreme council member is confident  that most of the people in his area are staunch supporters of Gabungan Parti Sarawak.

“Our Chief Minister Datuk PatinggiAbang Johari Tun Openg has implemented various initiatives since taking over the helm of the Sarawak government   two years ago. Abang Johari is not just talking but what he promised are really taking place on the ground  in Telang Usan,” he added.
