KUCHING: The Sarawak Hakka Community Association will hold its double jubilee gala dinner on Nov 26.
The dinner is set to take place at Kuching Chung Hua Primary School No. 3 at 6.30pm.
“Hundreds of guests are expected, comprising representatives and committees of Hakka associations statewide,” said Kapitan Chai Yong Liang, deputy president of the association and chairman of the organizing committee.
“Elderly members are also invited as a gesture of appreciation, and we hope to have a joyous evening together.”
He added: “Invitation letters (to elderly members) have been sent out. All permanent members who have reached the age of 70 are invited.
“Those who wish to attend the dinner must fill in the reply form and return it to the association secretariat before Oct 30.”
