Sarawak taps into Singaporean market

SINGAPORE: Sarawakian entrepreneurs are exploring new markets and business opportunities as they showcase their products at the Sarawak-Singapore Business Forum & Expo 2019 at the Suntec Singapore
Convention & Exhibition Centre, here.

About 100 Sarawak entrepreneurs and agencies are promoting their products and services that include agricultural and food products, tourism-related attractions, shipbuilding, timber-based industries, training and education and property development.

The exhibition was graced by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg along with his deputies Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan.

The exhibition is seen as a perfect platform to enhance international trade and e-commerce between Sarawak and Singapore.

Among those present were Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian, former deputy chief minister Tan Sri George Chan Hong Nam and former state secretary Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohd Morshidi Abdul Ghani.
