KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak United came from behind to secure a 4-1 win over Perak FC II in a Premier League match at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras, here last night.

The win took them to the top of the table with 31 points, overtaking two other teams and brightening their chances further for promotion to the Super League next season.

However, it did not start too well for the Kenyalang Emas squad after going behind to a Royizzat Daud goal in the fifth minute of the match, but they managed to fight back for an equaliser through national striker Norshahrul Idlan Talaha in the 35th minute.

It was Sarawak United all the way after the break, taking the lead through a Perak FC II own goal in the 53rd minute.

Import player Uche Agba piled the misery on Perak FC 11 with a goal in the 67th minute for a 3-1 lead before substitute Abdul Rahim Abdul Razak scored in the dying minutes of the game to complete the rout. – Bernama
