KUCHING: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin arrives today on a two-day working visit to Sarawak.

He will spend today here before going to Serian tomorrow to view some infrastructure development projects.

His visit has caught the attention of the public and their opinions of him are very positive, viewing him as a caring and a good leader especially during the pandemic.

It turns out that the public are generally fond of him, and they praised him for taking care of the people.

He is a good leader; given a lot of help to the needy, and now we have free vaccines for everyone. I hope he will approve more projects for us.

It is good that he comes to look at how we are doing. I hope that he will look after us until the pandemic ends and continues to keep our country safe.

The PM’s visit shows that he is concerned about Sarawak. I hope that he remains PM long enough to help Sarawak realise its dream of becoming a developed state and also end the pandemic.

I hope he will not ignore the roles of youth in the country’s development. What I wish for is for our leaders to give the youth more chances to exhibit their potentials.

He became prime minister so readily despite being in the middle of a pandemic. That alone says much about him. He started from the bottom to get to where he is now.

The PM is a great example to the younger generation. I hope he will give more aid to help the people to get through the pandemic.

He needs to be sensitive to our challenges, especially   in the rural areas. I hope that he will be more focused on education, health services and infrastructure.

He has lots of experience in politics so he is worthy to lead. We have seen his capability in handling the pandemic. I hope that he will always focus on development in Sarawak.
